Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about Nkawrou, the football app for Tunisia.
What is Nkawrou?
Nkawrou is a free amateur-football app for Tunisia. It shows open matches near you, lets you book your spot in one tap, and maps verified pitches. It launched in Zarzis and is now live across the whole south.
Is Nkawrou free?
Yes, 100% free for players and for pitch owners: no subscription, no commission. Some pitches charge on site — in that case the per-player price is shown on the match.
Which cities is Nkawrou available in?
Across the six southern governorates: Médenine (Zarzis, Djerba, Ben Gardane…), Gabès, Tataouine, Gafsa, Tozeur and Kébili. Next up: the Sahel, Tunis.
How do I join a match?
Create a free account, open the feed of open matches tonight and this week, then tap "Join" on a free slot. You can bring a guest or two. You get a reminder and the match chat before kick-off.
How do I organise my own match?
Tap "Create", pick the pitch, date and time, the format (5-a-side, 7-a-side…) and the number of players. Your match appears in your city's feed and players can join.
What is the reliability score?
Every player has a public score out of 100 based on their real attendance. After the match, the organiser confirms who showed. So before playing you can see who actually turns up and who cancels last minute.
Do I need to download the app?
No. Nkawrou is a web app: open app.nkawrou.com in Chrome or Safari and add it to your home screen. The Google Play version is coming soon, followed by the App Store.
I run a pitch — how do I add it?
Sign up as a partner from the Contact page. Listing your pitch is free and commission-free: you fill your empty slots and become visible to players looking for somewhere to play tonight.
